Amateur Photo Contest

4th Annual Amateur Photo Contest Now Accepting Entries

The Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce in partnership with The UPS Store® is encouraging area residents to grab their camera and capture the essence of the Rainy River District with their 3rd nnual Amateur Photo Contest.

The contest, which will highlight sights and scenes throughout the Rainy River District, is currently accepting entries in two different categories:

  • Home and Leisure - working, living or playing in the Rainy River District
  • The Great Outdoors - scenery or wildlife in the Rainy River District

All entries must be taken by the applicant within the boundaries of the Rainy River District and an official entry form, including the photographers name, photo location, category and contact information must accompany the submission.

Submitted photographs should be 4" x 6" and digital entries via e-mail, disc, or memory card will also be accepted.

One photo from each category will be selected by a panel of judges.

All photographs will be on display during the 21st Annual Fort Frances Home & Leisure Show April 30 - May 1, 2010 at the Fort Frances Memorial Sports Centre.

Entry Fee

  • $10 per photo
  • 3 photos for $20

  • Friday, April 16, 2010
